I have going back and forth with the idea of buying a PSP. I already own a DS and i like it a lot but there are some games coming out on the PSP i would really want to play (Silent Hill, Castlevania, God of War) not to mention some of the games that interests me that have been out that I haven't played (Daxter, Ratchet and clank, Syphon filter games, MGS PO). I was wandering if it is worth it to own two Handheld systems cause there is def no way I would sell my DS.

I think you answered your own question. If there are games on the system you want to play, then yes it is worth it. I have no regrets owning both.

of course!! i own both ds and psp. They both play very difference games. DS touch screen, psp more conventional gaming like ps2. Get a psp too, so that u can enjoy both worlds.

if youve got the money and youll use it, then yes. i personally wouldnt use a second handheld system because my sp sees rare use already, though some of the new games may have me playing a bit. when im at home i play on my pc. i just use my psp in like the airport or when im not anywhere near home for a week. if your ds sees heavy use, then the psp wont be a waste.

Simple answer.... yes :D

PSPs can do so much more than a Ds.

Some games are better on Ds sure but psp gets the likes of ratchet and clank and Metal gear.

In my opinion it's good to have both, so I would say yes.

Oh, and I would recommend getting the Daxter pack.

I'll second what everyone else has already said: It's definitely worth getting both because they are 2 really different playing styles and types of games.

I was debating this question a couple of months ago and I'm really glad I decided to get a PSP, though I still play both consoles:)

i own 2 dsl. i played every game i ever wanted to play. but i got bored with my ds. and the other day I ordered the white psp. Its different, the games are also different. I think the psp is a better handheld. I use to be like the biggest ds fanboy until medicore games kept coming out and out, and then i saw the light, a white psp

I guess being 27 qualifies me as a kid then...

I've had my DS Lite (and before that a DS) for a long time now and still enjoy it very much. And just recently I purchased a PSP Slim and I'm really enjoying that as well. As others have said, they both have great games and qualities that are unique to each of them.

In general, that's actually a fair statement. Though both systems have games that are made for both audiences, it is true that if you walk into any store and compare the games they are selling, you'll find way more PSP game titles with T or M ratings, while many of the DS games are games like DOGS, CATS, Disney crap,..etc etc. DS can be enjoyable for a while though with Zelda, FFIII, Mario Kart, Brain Age, etc.

Its more than worth it to get a PSP though. Just look through the entire list of games and I am sure you'll find plenty to keep you busy.
