Is it worth it get a Ps3?

The PS3 is now 400 dollars, i am waiting for a price drop. I want o know if it is worth it to buy the Ps3 if you have a tight budget. are games like Metal Gear Solid 4, and resistance worth the the amount of money you are paying for the PS3

well if you already have a wii/xbox/gaming pc, then no titles are worth a ps3, even though the ps3 is great value, if you are doing to just play those games it is not worth it, and its pretty much garunteed that a price drop is coming just wait it out, 4 months maximum.

well igot the ps3 when it first came out, its definatly worth every pennie and i paid around 700, but again worth every pennie, and this was before a massiv e amount of great titles cameout! But sony was saying in someinteriew a price drop will be happping within te next few months!:) just get one when you have the money , best system out there, and i can say that cause i have all other systems,

you clearly aren't on a tight budget, you have to consider his circumstances my man...

Also, by checking his posting history it is clear that he owns an xbox360.

PS3 is also a blu-ray, saves you atleast 200 bucks

and Playstation Network is free, unlike XboxLive, for which you have to pay a monthly or a yearly fee, depends on your plan. So in the end Playstation is actually cheaper then Xbox360. Recently Microsoft told us the Xbox360 has a ten year life, that means paying atleast 300 dollars for the next 5 years on XboxLive

I have a very very tight budget and was able to get one of the first 60 gig systems. It was well worth every penny at the time and has gotten better over time with added features other than just gamming.

You know Target has the PS3 special bundle with Motorstorm and Resisitance 1 in it for the same price as a system only one. That would at least save you $20-$30 bucks so that you wouldn't have to buy R1.

If your interested get one, everyone's money is tight, and yet people still have one. While your money maybe tight, if you truly had no money then you wouldn't be posting. If the system looks good to you then get it. System wars have been out of control this generation.

If you're tight don't get it so far into the gen. You'll want to many games and notice one day, dang i have a lot of games, has you look over your collection of 50 games you got since you bought the PS3 a year ago
