I dont know a huge amount on the vita, I have seen a few good games, I own a ps3, love that system.

Im sure eventually I will get a vita, but at the moment Im not entirely sure. I just had a few questions, this thing just seems way too costly. I bought the 3ds at launch (250$). it was the same cost. I bought a game or 2 with it. paid for before hand, really, Im just thinking you know, buy the system buy a game and your good to go, and thats when I saw 'memory card required', and they are ... costly..

I really just want to know the price routes Im looking at, what anyone would recommend. what Ill need and so forth. any tips, and Im not sure what differs from the 3g, I heard thats more costly in the memory

I'm interested in the PSVita too but knowing Sony, they'll release a revision model and cut down the price some time in the future. There'll also be a bigger library of games to choose from.

The reason why I'm saying this is because I was a first generation PSP user and it kinda bummed me out that the PSP 2000/3000 series was better designed and had more RAM than my PSP 1000. I loved the PSP though. I'll probably love the PSVita too but I'd wait to buy it.
