I wouldn't say MAG flopped, it just wasn't for everyone. Personally it didn't appeal to me as much as MW2 did. But I felt its short-coming was the $60 price tag when its anonline multiplayer only game. It should've followed the path of Warhawk and Socom, being cheaper than the average single player game with online multiplayer as well.

Mag is an amazing game. I love it, i never played the beta but the actual game is great, the controls are fantastic and the online community is great. Plus its one of the few online shooters were you dont hear little kids screaming in the background. Mag has one of the most mature audiences around.

At that price, it's the perfect thing to feed my inner online FPS freek. Thanks for the heads-up... I just got back from the gamestore a day or two ago picking up "Alone in the Dark". Guess I'm goin' back! Everyone I've talked to about it has positive things to say (including the older crowd factor mentioned in a previous post). Don't hate on it just because it doesn't have foolish perk systems and goofy "customized" weaponry. I like the idea of an online shooter with more complexity and squad-based objectives than just Team Deathmatch.

I rented it to try it out, and I actually liked it. Thats saying a lot because i really dont care for FPS games at all.

MAG was never a flop in my mind.

It has been my favorite FPS since CoD 4 because of the emphasis on teamwork and coordination to win. I was given the opportunity to play with a great clan and so I really enjoyed this game.

I'm glad they dropped the price. Hopefully more people will give this game a shot. If Sony was smart, they'd make this game available for download on the PSN for $29.99 soon enough. The community isn't too large, but it is loyal.

I simply adore the game. It was worth $60 to me. All the better if it is cheaper now.

Now I'm torn. I feel bad and good at the same time. I feel bad because I didn't buy it new even though I wanted to get it. I could only afford one game and Bad Company 2 took priority. But now I feel good that it's cheaper and, thus, more affordable. Oh well. :P

I played the beta brought the game took it back around a couple of days and got something new lol. Its alright but i found that it was near enough exactly like the beta only with a few new things. I'd stick with BBC2 if i was anyone thinking about buying MAG ( Mildly attractive game) becuase the only good point is 256 and even thats a bore.co_oper182
