Probably not for a looooooooong time. They will just keep updating it with new DLC. Besides, what new could they possibly bring besides working hardware?Quadrifoglio
You don't get it do you? :P Sure it has busted hardware stuff. But when the game finally comes out in Europe. The companies like Harmonix, etc. KNOWS that their hardware did have problems. And all of the is fixed. Just like it happended with Guitar Hero 1 for the first time. People in the states were crazy and crying because the guitar broke.. Harmonix learned from their mistakes and voila. Everything worked here :D
DrummerShane, making people cough up $6 a week forever for DLC beats getting $60 for a new disc once. Plus Harmonix doesn't have to worry about programming a new game, pay for packaging, shipping, store fees, etc. ItsEvolution
exactly, i've already bought almost 100 dollars worth of DLC since i got RB in december.

its a hell of alot more profitable for them to just keep a steady flow of good DLC then to create a whole nother game. i'm glad that they're not making a new Rockband game untill the next generation of consoles.

How is it more profitable if they make a new one that everyone will buy cus its new and then will buy the new steady of songs coming from the new one...I mean cmon lol but idk I guess we see it differently ..no biggie!! xD

because its a hell of lot less work to work on a 5 or 6 songs a week then create and code an entirely new game.
and if they keep coming out with new games every year they will lose alot of there fanbase.
plus $60 game with 60 tracks works out to less than $1 dollar a track for them after dealer fees and stuff like that, whereas 1 new song = 2 -3 dollars and that money goes directly to them.

The hardware is still lame. I've gone through THREE drum pedals already and and they all broke different from eachother. My guitars have been pretty good so far except one can't up strum and on another it had a broken whammy. My replacement guitar works good so far but the drum pedal is what people need to beware of.

Well, i'm speaking of the ones coming to europe. And since it's not out in Europe yet. The packages haven't even been packed down and made ready yet.
But there are some pretty coold modifications for the drum pedal that you can buy off Ebay and stuff really cheap. where you screw a metal plate thingy on to the pedal and then it doesn't break in half. And the guy cuts the metal plate into the right size so it fits the pedal. Sure enough if you break something else on it because having a heavy foot is the best feature you have (not YOU you, in general) then EA might be going "Hmm, why are there 4 holes in this pedal?"..
But as i said, it happended with Guitar Hero 1, guitar controllers broke in the states. Harmonix heard the crying kids, fixed it for the European launch. Same thing will happen here.
