I am strongly considering getting Skate but i heard the frame rate was kind of bad so i was wondering does it have much effect on this game play? And to people who have played it should i get this game?
i havent really played it myself, but i did see it compared to the new Tony Hawk game on Reviews on the run i think it was on G4 and they picked it over the newest Tony Hawk game, so if you want a skateboarding game than i guess this would be the best choice especially if your looking for a change in skateboarding games as well

Personally? I notice the frame rate a great deal; however, it doesn't affect the gameplay at all. It's more of the camera angle that does in my opinion. This game is definitely not a "must have" in the general sense, but if you're a game collector (like me) or someone who just likes to have a little bit of everything in his collection... It's definitely a good buy. It is funner, though, if you have other people to play with.
If you are truly a fan/in love with skateboarding, then buy skate. I have it for x360, and I played the ps3 version as well, I see no difference whatsoever. If youre a bam-fan, then gtfo and buy tony hawk =D
