im a lifelong SW fan, seen every movie multiple multiple times, and honestly to me its a rent first then if you really wanna beat it more than once buy it.
ive been getting the general vibe that its more of a rental. it seems to be an average game with a few flashes of brilliance and not much of an incentive to replay.
I am really enjoying it and i keep going back to previous missions so I can cap out all my skills which are expensive to upgrade. So its got enough game play hours to warrant a purchase.
I know a lot of people keeping saying its a 9 hour game. But thats if you blow right through the story. I definitely think theres more to do in it if you play games like me you will want every little thing you can get.
I'd just rent it. Its a fun game, and I feel that they've captured the essence of the force very well. The music is great (John Williams so of course its great) The story is pretty good, a little shallow but its Star Wars for sure.. The gamplay is fun to experience and any star wars fan should give it a playthrough, But I wouldnt spend 60 bucks on a game you would replay twice at the most, because for all the glory of the game there are some VERY FRUSTERATING moments that had me on the verge of hucking my controller into the game developers faces... Not to mention there are bugs and glitches that make a challenging game feel impossible at moments.. But without a doubt any Star Wars fan has to experience this game.
I wanted this game until I saw the replay value was zero. I would rather just play Jedi Outcast again on my wii. If you really want the story, go to you local comic book store and pick up the graphic version. I hear the comic story is pretty much the main story from the game.
I think it is worth buying yes it is kind of short but you can play it again it has alternate ending and you have to get all the unlocks. I love just using all the force powers and making a mess of any kind of enemy though.
