If you have friends that play Tekken then that answer is a resounding yes. The game goes up to 1080p as well.
In a couple of months you can pay $10 and download a patch to allow for online play. That in itself should be reason enough for you to go get the game now.
probably, but dont get it yet. I hear the price is 10$ for online patch and 20$ for the whole package. In other words if you buy it now you gotta pay 10$ extra for a patch.
Or let me put a little bit easier:
Buy now: 20$ + another 10$ for online patch
Wait for online: Buy the wholethe game with online modefor 20$
It's great and all, but Imma vote no. I haven't bought a Tekken game since the orginal over 10 years ago and found this ps3 game boring after a couple hours. There is no story, no practice, just same darn moves from original just in prettier format.
Hell YES!! I you like tekken, for just the few added moves & characters it's worth it. But I'll advice you to wait for the online version to come out, 'cause it'll include Practice Mode and the current one doesn't.
Tekken 5 for PS2 comes with movies, and more modes of gameplay, including practice mode. However it won't be 1080p and be online. As for myself, I shoulda just bought TK5 for $20 greatest hits because I wanted the gameplay movies and stuff.
