Well i gonna buy a PS3 very soon so i would like to know if buying the 60 GB version is the better choice for me, i'm not planning on using neither the wi-fi or the expansion slots (for SD and other cards). So i would like to know if the 60 GB version has any extra use for me or should i stick with the 20 GB version?

In that case then don't get the 60 GB and just upgrade the HD to something bigger.

you sound like you're in a similar situation to me. I do not plan on using Wi-Fi, I might use the expansion slots but I could live without them I think. Unless you plan on using your PS3 for alot of downloads (i.e movies, demos, music, etc.) I probably wouldn't recomend the 60 gig version.

like you said if you NEVER plan on using WiFi or you NEVER plan on using the expansion slots then I would go for the 20gb version. One thing to think about is the possible use of the extras on the 60gb version in the future. the shelf life of a console is around 5 years so if you cannot possibly see yourself using WiFi or any other addition that the 60gb version has in the 5 year life span then I would get the 20gb.

20GB will do you just fine but I'm never cheap and got the 60GB regardless of when/if I'll ever use the extra's or not.

If you don't need wifi the 20 gig is a better value. Plus 20gigs is more than you will ever need unless you plan to clutter the drive with junk. Hopefully Sony will add streaming support sometime in the future. There is also no need to keep a demo. Most people will delete it after they are done with it.

Just take the 20GB version so you can save that hundred dollars to get a bigger harddrive for your PS3, I think 2.5" sata 120 gb at least $150.

i don't think they are shipping them anymore. It was probably just for launch because i have not seen any in a long time. It could also be that more people are purchasing the 20gig and leaving the 60gig so i don't know.

That is assuming the OP is even interested in remote play.I doubt many people will actually use that feature.

I've heard that the 20GB were being phased out.

I am happy I got the 60GB version, the flash cards are great for backing up my hard drive game saves on a Flash cards, and swapping MP3's between the PSP and PS3, also easy to transfer my pics from my camera to the PS3. And Wifi connection to PSP is interesting and could lead to interesting options in the future. The larger hard drive means I can hold more demos photos and lots & lots of  MP3's without having to worry about what I need to remove to fit something else on the console. (Thats the problem I have now with my 360 I have no free space I have to delete things when I want to try a new demo.) Hooking things up by the USB cable always seems really cheap to me, the cables are not as flexible as the old wired controllers.

All of that is just crap. They need to add network support because the majority of us store all our music, pics and videos on our PC so it would be much better if we could stream. Maybe you have no free space on your 360 because it's filled with useless garbage like demos you never play and there is no reason to store music on the 360 since it streams everything. I still have 12 gigs on it and it hasn't moved in over a year.
