Is the PS3 worth getting if I already have an Xbox 360???

Multi console gaming is great but it is a luxury. I like my PS3 plenty but if I had to be XBOX exclusive I wouldn't be sad. I'm not particularly thrilled with the exculsives on either side (I'm still just getting into the PS3 stuff however). If you do have extra cash it's fun to be able to shop on both sides of this divide.

Its worth I'd say. AT the moment, I don't see myself ever buying another Xbox because PS3 is so much better.

Yes the Playstation has great exclusives and the internet is free.

I'm not gonna lie, a couple of months ago I purchased the complete Dexter Seasons 1-5 boxset and have finished them already, I guess I'm just addicted to it at the moment lol, hence the reason I have a Dexter theme. And honestly, if I could have it my way multiplayer wouldn't exist. Glad we agree on that. :)

Personally, not really. I had a ps3 and asked the same question for the xbox. Now that I have an xbox--thank god i didn't buy it (got it for christmas). I would take the inferior version with free internet online over having to buy another console that I can barely differentiate differences with a paid subscription. Unless you are dying to play the PS3 exclusives, free internet gaming (quit xbox live to save money), then no--don't buy one. Almost all the multiplatform games are better on the 360 so you'll end up buying it for it anyways. Exclusives is like beauty, it only comes from the player/eye of beholder. To be more easy on you--it's like someone asking you, would you buy a 360 just for its exclusives IF considering almost all multiplats are better on the ps3?

It is funny how people still believe the multiplat inferiority myth this late in the generation. In 2007, games ran worse on PS3, but not so much anymore. It is only PC ported to console games that run worse on PS3 like Mafia, Skyrim and the like. Every once in a while there will be a Bayonetta, but games run the same now.
