yes it is worth it. The daxter bundle is the best pick for new PSP owners: siliver psp 2000, a great game, cool movie, 1gb memory stick plus the line up of games out now and coming out, great time to be a psp owner :D

It is noticably smaller. I hadn't held a slim until I picked up the Star Wars bundle and there is quite a difference. Although the thing I like the best is that the analog nub moves smoother than the older one.

I just got mine yesterday and when i held it... it was extremely light(or as sony and nintendo call it, lite), it doesn't feel cheap or anything. In my opinion the slim is awesome.
especially when you play games that utilize the d-pad. the raised arrow buttons make things easier to press u/l at the same time a lot easily in DJ Max Portable 1/2. plus the weight difference is very significant especially if you've used a fat PSP for a while. the only problem is that there isn't a good protective shell for the slims right now like the PGP for the fat psp.
