Is the Skyrim lag fixable?

I've been doing a lot of research and maybe I had missed something. Just being concerned because I do not have an adequate PC nor do I have a 360. Was there any announcement that said that the ps3 glitch will be fixable? Or are they still unsure? Please let me know, I REALLY want to get this game.

I only notice the lag after a few hours of no stop playing. Went it starts up it runs fine for me.

i do think that will be fixable but they have to encode a large size patch.

Who knows, it's not like the developer is giving people anything more than vague assurances :roll:

I'm 20 hours far now, and haven't encountered a single glitch. My game crashed 2 times so far. I feel bad about the graphics being turned down with the latest patch, especially when you're high up on a mountain and looking to the horizon.

If this issue is a deterrent for you I would suggest not bothering considering Bethesda's history with PS3 games. If you're up for risks then go for it. Amazing game and it seems random people are affected so you might be a lucky one.

I got it Platinum after like an hour after I downloaded the patch...When it got to laggy I just restarted my PS3 or just quit the game and came back and it was fine again for another hour or so...annoying but it works
