I guess if they finish things up sooner but I think the earliest it would come out is February.
EDIT: But I don't mind to wait since I'm getting Folklore, Uncharted, and Haze for Christmas and possibly finishing up Assassin's Creed depending on when I get it.

I'd rather get it March 2008 and have it perfect then get it January with it being buggy.
From a business standpoint its smarter to release the game in either February or March just because people will have more money than right after Christmas.
But if they put it out in January then kids will beg their parents and teens will scrounge up money to buy a ps3 for christmas. Then they would be ready instead of waiting for the game till March, but i do agree i'd rather have it perfect in march than buggy in January

anyways. it COULD happen. but as far as i can see. March or April would be perfect actually. but sure, there could still be bugs and stuff. but not as many as there would be if it came in January
Probably be Feb/Mar less competition around that time. Perfect to maximize sales. Too many other excellent games out before Xmas anyway so i don't mind waiting for MGS4,DMC4,GTA4,LBP,GT5.
