I keep getting the message: An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PSN.

It'll sign in again if I click it, and there's nothing wrong with my internet connection because my netbook's working fine.

Is there maintenance or something? Is anyone else getting the same problem?

Maintenance usually has it's own message. I get the error you mentioned mostly when there's heavy traffic in my network and my bandwith is used to it's limit, like several down-/uploads at a time. If that's not the case for you you could try rebooting the PS3, router and modem.
