why dont you just lay it down
the new ps3 slim model has an optional stand for vertical placement, which is to be bought separatly, the ps3 is not supposed to be placed veritcally without it... if there is a problem although you are using the vertical stand, then you might want to get it replaced...MondasM
He placed it horizontally though.
I'd checked that it seems all four are well in place.Does it have any rubber pads on the bottom of the console? Maybe one is missing?

Right now it is not on a perfectly flat surface, I have try placing it on like 3 different sufaces and on one it stays almost perfectly it stil moves a little bit donw if you press it on the back left side. I just hope this wont cause any damage to my system. Is the surface thatit's on perfectly flat?

bend it a little maybe the plastic is just a bit warped.Just kind of give it a twist to true it.freekninjincSorry to ask you but what do you mean by bend and what does warped means.

What I can assure you will happen if you open your case is that you will void your warrenty.
Try and take it back to gamespot and see if they will change it for you. Just make a big fuss about it in person if they give you a hard time.

***king GameStop i called them and the manager told me: use a piece of rubber to make it tay more firm. Accoding to this manager this is not covert by the 30 days warranty. I think this is the las console i will buy at GameStop even if it is a very little problem. The worst part, i can't make a big fuss cause i know the manager.Probably not and it would void Your warranty. If twisting does'nt work, try something like taking a small piece of tape and folding it over til its thick enough to compensate the wobble, and tape it to one of the feet on the bottom of the ps3.freekninjincHey were i have it right now is not very flat and i have found a right spot to put it, now it doesn't wobble even a little bit. I found than you can take out the rubber pads of the Slim out and under them they have a screws, maybe one of them needs to be loosen.
