No, it deserved the score that it got. I think it has a huge band wagon now. Why are people saying uncharted 2 is awesome and they didnt even play the first?
i only had the opportunity to play the original, but if uncharted 2 was even half the game the original was than i would probably put my money on it being a great game.
yes it is overrated not saying that it doesnt deserve the hype though the best game i played in a long while. it was one of those rare games when you played the story and i didnt want to stop no matter how tired i was and my third play through i wanted to actually play through not for the trophies because i had them all already just love the story and the other sequences they thow in.
Games like MW2 are overrated. I have real life friends that don't even know what UC2 is about and say this game is completely inferior to MW2. Games like UC2 deserve every merit it has.
Its one of the best games I have ever played. No game has ever drawn me into the story and relate to the characters like Uncharted 2 did. I actually cared for the characters and the story was top notch. Everything about the game exceeded my expectations from the first game. I'm just hope Uncharted 3 can exceed higher than Uncharted 2 but that will be tough since Uncharted 2 is an amazing game.

Every once in a while you'll find somebody saying its the best game ever and while that may not be true it's definitely one of the best games released in the past couple years. If you haven't tried it out yet they recently put a single player demo up on the PSN store that you could try.
best game ever. never played a game before in my life that was so fun from beginning to end. state of the art graphics, so colourful and amazing to look at. only game worth my while to platinum, and enjoyed every minute of it. a combination of the best elements of tomb raider, gears of war, and resident evil. multiplayer is like a second awesome addictive game added in as a bonus. only game my girlfriend likes, and plays regularly.

A lot of just decent games are sometimes overrated. Fortunately, Uncharted 2 is definitely not one of them. There were parts in that game that had my heart pounding.
Overrated? Naw. No way. It deserves all that is 9.5. Graphics are extremely well done, dialogue, cutscenes, are nearly perfect. My only gripe with the game are the waves of enemies that come at you. It seemed like for the most part of the game I spent duck and covering in firefights. It felt like they implemented a lot of tedious firefights to make the game longer than it already was. All in all, it's a huge improvement over the original. HUGE improvement. It really set the bar high.
for me the telling sign is, most games after one play through I tend to skip the cutscenes, but not uncharted 2. I am on my 3rd playthrough and I still watch the cutscenes and am amazed and enjoy it every time. That to me is a sign of an excellent game. on top of those the gameplay, story, graphics, everything is just top notch. There really isn't much more I could ask for from a game.
Uncharted 2 is in absolutely in no way overrated. It is one of the best games out there.I think that Uncharted 1 is underrated. And like many of you, I am thinking about how the **** that Naughty Dog is going to break the fourth wall again. All I can say is that I hope that they do.
Well depends of how you see it, i personally thought the first was underatted. Basicly the second got the score for "obvious" ps3 exclusive marketing reasons rather being and improved product over the first. I wouldnt call it overated but its not THAT good!!
