Its almost over for ps3 :(

Yer, i just get annoyed that Xbox fanboys laugh at PS3 lover because 'there isnt any good games! ahhahaha!!'

But fear not, MGS4 is comming soon, Little Big Planet is comming as well as well as FF13, Killzone2 and something else i cant remember the name of lol!

To be honest, the only good games on 360 are Halo 3 and Bioshock and a something else, plus they use old software which is easier to develop for while the PS3 uses new software..which is harder to use! Hence, the lack of 'amazing' titles.

In a few months, Sony (like you say) will be on the rise! Its taking so long because (like i said) its new software and if they rush it, it will just mess it all up and go Kaputt!

It's not new software, it's new hardware with a complicated infastruture, well maybe's not complicated just foriegn compared with the usual development process of pc/360.

Also its not new hardware any more its two years old, its still top hardware but this hardware was available to devs before the release of ps3 two years ago.

IMO devs should have more than figured out the in's/outs of ps3 by now and to keep saying "once dev figure ps3 out it will be amazing", its proven already devs can create games that equal or look better than 360 but i wouldnt expect another huge leap this generation, they will just find ways to utilize the power better over the coming years making minor imrprovements hear and there(just like they will with 360) this sort of thing happens every generation, compare late ps2 games with earlier ps2 games, the hardware never changed it specs they just find better ways to use the power they have more efficent ways and devs make better software to utilize this power.

Expect more from ps3 but i wouldnt expect a whole other world of games to come out this gen.

The thing I like about Sony is that

1. at least they listen to their fans

2. They dont go out and try to buy up all games(which is very bad for the gamers I might add)

3. and lastly they dont rush things into market like Microsoft... I am sorry but I feel that the 360, Halo3, and even the NG2 was rushed into production just so it can get money from the consumer quicker.

Sony and MS are both evil and will probably be the reason gaming fails in the future.

There is no doubt that Nintendo and Microsoft have sold more consoles than the PS3. Several reasons why the PS3 did not sell as much are: price was too high, no great gaming titles, and Sony seemed to bash their potential customers in their ads by insinuating that the customers could not handle the PS3's amazing capabilities. However, PS3 is the only gaming console that has the most potential. Here are some reasons why:

1)Sony has promised that the PS3 will be the "gaming console" for at least the next 10 years. Furthermore, exclusive rights to gaming titles for PS3 is not a major issue for Sony. Sony has taken the liking of the phrase "patience is a virtue".

2)This year in 2008 we shall see the comeback of the PS3. Currently in other foreign countries the PS3 is getting a growing fan-base. Also, the new features for the PS3-PSP incest affair is slowly coming out. For example, a PSP can turn on a PS3 remotely, you can play PS1 games installed on the PS3 on your PSP, you can watch Blu-Ray movies on your PSP through your PS3, soon we will be able to download TV shows on the PS3 and watch it on the PSP, and don't forget about the new PSN new feature HOME (PSN=Playstation Network).

3)Furthermore, the amount of new technology that the PS3 contains contributes to the ongoing assumption that the Wii and Xbox 360 will not be able to keep their momentum compared to the PS3. "Plus, a cavalcade of crappy Wii software could damage the Wii's long-term sustainability" (EGM Issue#226 Revenge of the PS3!).

4)Also, a current survey shows that more people find Blu-Ray movies to be more visually satisfying then that of HD-DVDs. Warner Bros. has announced that they will join Disney in making exclusive Blu-Ray movies. This leaves Paramount and Universal Studios the only companies making exclusive HD-DVD. I guess we won't be watching Hairspray in Blu-Ray any time soon!

5)BestBuy and Wal-Mart are now giving $100 Blu-Ray gift cards to anyone who buys a PS3. In July there are rumors that there will be a potential price drop ($299.99) for the 40GB PS3.

6)PS3 also has a free online network for those multiplayer fanatics who do not want to play a monthly fee in order to pwn some noobs. This poses a huge problem for Xbox 360 online franchise. I will guess that the only ones left using the Xbox 360 will be the Halo fans which was continue to play Halo 7 when it comes out.

7)Lastly, these are just some major title games that will come out for the PS3 later on this year: Metal Gear Solid 4: Gus of the Patriots, Gran Turismo 5: Prolouge, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, SOCOM: Confrontation, Infamous, and Bioshock.

Therefore, with a little patience us PS3 lovers will see the rise and domination of the PS3 over all the other consoles.

SNES and Sega never did that... gamecube and PS2 never did that....N64 and PS1 never did that... So Why does Microsoft come on the scene and create all this turmoil in gaming. I mean all this console war stuff started when Xbox came on the scene(which was better in hardware than the PS2 by the way)

I mean I dont care if something goes multiplat thats fine with me... I dont even care if MGS4 was for the 360. My point is that M$ pays people money specifically to not have that game on the PS3. And that is something that we do not need in gaming. And to my knowledge SOny has not done that yet...

I just have a PS3 and I also think the 360 has some good games, but I will not buy one until I feel like they are gonna stay around for a while... and telling from there past system I really dont think the 360 will last no where as long as the PS3... I think 720 will be coming out or talked about at the most 2 years from now.

Sony were the first company ever to aggresivly buy up 3rd party exclusives for PS1 and the early years of ps2, once they had this massive brand name and huge install base they didnt have to pay for exclusives, but to think MS were the first companie to start paying for exclusives shows you know very little about the industry.

Sega and Nintendo used to pay for 3rd party exclusives back in the mega drive,snes days, an exclsuive does not just come from one company going "heres a big check, make your game for us".

Dev teams pitch there games to console makers and publishers to get them to invest in development and marketing, thats how most exclusives are bought.

Sony would have paid UBI for exclusive rights to haze, sony paid for development and marketing on lair.heavenly sword which are made by independent studios(2nd party games) this is how exclusives are bought.

Do you think Konami make metal gear on ps3 for free, no marketing or dev costs would have been paid for by sony, same with the final fantasy games and there's others allot of others when taking into account all playstation consoles.

Thats a very naieve opinion you have, i guess when Krazy Ken said "we dont pay for exclusives we earn them" you believed it.

This is the way the gaming world has been for ever, and to think paying for exclusives only started with ms is very naieve.
