So it would be highl appreciated if someone could tell me the story i no it will be long but i would be thankful if it was highly detailed.

All you need to know is that Snake is the man and nothing is ever what it appears to be!! Keep an open mind in the game and you'll walk away with a great experience!

i would recommend buying the essential collection for the ps2. Its like 30 bucks for the 3 previous games.

Yeah, play the games, if you just want the story out of it, play it on easy with a walkthrough, it's way to complicated to write down here, also, the story is very well told in the games, that doesnt nearly come through from reading it!
