Cool :D

are the english voices very good?

Nothing special, but they aren't terrible in the least. Drippy is awesome though. Lots of effort and hilarity went into voicing that character.

I think the voice acting is spot on, it's quality acting and I think they match the characters well. I like Oliver's Welsh accent, he pronounces some words in an interesting way.

Apparently I'm the only one here that is listening to the original Japanese track.

The English soundtrack is excellent. Olivers a little weak but i'm pretty sure its a child actor. Drippy is awesome, as is just about everybody else.

game has lost a lot of its fun factor for me at about the 30 hour mark battles get so brutally difficult that it sucks all the fun out. around the 25 hour mark you start getting to evolve to final forms and having to start from lvl 1 with your familiars is just a joke. even with backup familiars that are level appropriate, you can easily be destroyed in seconds. mobs do far more damage to you than you do to them..... and your only choice is to grind or basically just fork out all your money on continues.

Are you doing the side quests? I did all the side quests and bounty hunts in each area before moving on, and the game wasn't very difficult at all that way. You'll want to do them before the end anyway, because there's some really good rewards on that bottom row.

i have done every sidequest and hunt i have come across, and mobs are still dealing far more damage than i am. im about to go in to shadar's lair, and my pokemon are in the high 40s atm. that is only after searching for Tokos for a few hours outside of Perdida. i have to say, my gaming tastes have changed dramatically since i was younger. when i was 13/14 and playing FF7.... i didnt mind grinding for hours. now, if i have to grind at any point for more than an hour i just stop playing. cant handle it anymore.

Well that's discouraging. That's the type of thing that makes me stop playing these types of games.

don't bash me for saying this but you can reduce the difficulty level, i know there is only two but if it is getting more frustrating and it continues, there is always that option... :) i am 11 hours into the game and i quite enjoy it, the smoothness of the animation, 1080p resolution, alive cities; the high cuteness level may drive me crazy towards the end, but this game has so much production value and careful design, i may not go mad after all... :D
