Just bought a ps3...a hdtv problem

I picked up a HDMI cable...and low and behold my HDTV does not have a HDMI connection, it has a DVI one...i see you can get adaptors...is their any type in particular i should get?

Will this affect my screen quality at all, the adaptor i mean.

Also, WOW Resistance is BADDDDDDDD.

Ok, now i'm seriously confused, Along with the diff colour DVI adaptors their are diff types, like DVI-D, DVI-A
