Just bought HAZE!!

Ya it was released today and despite mixed reviews I have decided to just buy the game!! I'll be posting my review sometime later this week :D. I'm excited to play this game! Who else went beyond and bought this game?

Tony Montana sorry but you are whats wrong with the boards if the person enjoys the game let him/her enjoy it. If you dont want to take a chance on a purchase or rental thats your business but dont hate because someone did and actually is happy w/their purchcase. Don't worry about it, Xcaliber. You'll find that many users here are quick to throw the fanboy tag out there without knowing what they are talking about. Despite having a PS3, Wii, 360, DS and PSP, all listed in my sig, I get called a fanboy, too.:?

Theres nothing wrong with buying a game that did'nt score as well as would have liked it to. I would have missed out on some of my favorite games had I done that in the past. With regards to HAZE it looks pretty decent to me Im sure there are plenty of people who will enjoy it.

his sig says he has a 360 ps3 PC, and perhaps more, I forgot, so obviously he isn't an extreme fanboy... He likes a very popular game, that happens to be on 360 and PC... so that means he can't be trusted with ps3 information...?

Personally i didnt get the game, because i thought the money to other game would be better well spent, like battlefield bad company and mgs4, maybe bourne, considering it lol, but calling people a fanboy when that someone got like every single system is not the way to go. jmp .;), i personally dont like the game, but i aint an ass lol, some people might actually enjoyed the game, you shouldnt spoil it to those that have a good time with it :)realistic44

I might get bourne because i actually like the fighting system, its pretty similar to uncharted, lol, i want to see how the multiplayer turns out though, battlefield bad company im definetly going to buy once the game comes out, i might as well get 2 copies :lol: :P, i already got it on pre-order at bestbuy, seriously though, i think its going to be the best online game that will probably ever hit a ps3 console, maybe except for resistance 2,and 90% destructible enviroments that is insane lol, it really feels like you in the battlefield yourself :D

I still don't understand why people are so quick to forget which games weren't exclusive (such as Bioshock (which I own and love even though I don't own a 360. Also Gears of War and Lost Planet aren't exclusive, while we're at it. Anyways........)

There's nothing wrong with owning/liking a game no one else liked. You could be the only person in the entire world who liked the game and that's still fine. Same with disliking a game. It's all a matter of personal opinion. Also, Haze didn't get bad reviews. From what I saw, it was just rather standard, middle of the line, average. That is not the same as bad. It's just very average. So some people will like it, some won't, and some won't give a hoot either way. Plain and simple.

yea its going to be a while til then, in the meantime im playing some condemned 2 , uncharted, cod4 and gta iv, demo comes out june 12th, and its much closer compared to other games like gow3, re5, or r2, im real excited about this game, definetly going to get my hands on it, considering that i never even played the game series before, im still excited, with its online and mainly destructible enviroments, and anyways because by now i kind of get sick of cod4, im in prestiege 2nd lvl -30 rank btw. and yea having a real good online game is always the way to go :)

I don't believe you, you have been posting like crazy about hoe much Haze sucks and the demo is garbage and all kind of bashing so i really don't think you bought this game.

P.S: Im buying Haze next week, so i hope the TC review

lol yah rite reviews matter man, review wil atlest tell u wats good about the game and wats not and so far everything for haze has been bad. o yah i also plaed haze today but i rented it not dum to buy it and waste my money. yah man i am smart stright up. ps. game does suck.

I love the people who are getting mad because others are trying to warn them about Haze and save them $60 and their time. It's not like there is a huge conspiracy among PS3 owners where we don't want any of us to enjoy a great game. Haze is not a bad game, it is average. In 2008 average may as well mean bad with all of the exceptional games that are already on the market. Why stop playing good/great games to play average ones? There are plenty of good games out there that put Haze to shame or at least make it look dated. Just because Haze has guns that shoot bullets doesn't mean that every shooter fan should flock to t.

I have only played the demo, but between that and the reviews my decision was fairly easy to make. Almost every game has a demo before launch these days so that we don't make a bad purchase. If the demo for Haze had not been released I may have been suckered in to buying it. That's why demos are a double edge sword. They convince some to buy a game and others to avoid it.

If you bought Haze and are enjoying it that is great. If you bought it and hate it then research games and play the demos before buying. I should just copy and paste this in every thread about Haze, but I'm sure that talk about the game will dwindle to nothing in the next week.

Well, I picked up my copy today and I'm very happy with it. I changed the controls of it (to call of duty 4 style, including the melee attack *instead of knife it's the gun to the face*) I only got to play it for 1 hr (due to work), but I had fun with it.

I agree with that one person saying that the driving squad sucked. They didn't do much, but once you get off of it. OOOH YEAH!

Got the $10 dollar gift card from Circuit City, what more could you ask for?
