i really think jc2 is a true followup to gta san andreas in terms of the enormous world, planes and freedom only thing missing of course is the adult content

in my opinion it is better than red dead redemption cos in rdr after u beat the story there is not much to do

It certainly has the fun factor that GTAIV was missing.

While I hear what you are saying, I played the JC2 demo on my PC and thought it was pretty amazing (if it had free roam MP I would have bought it). Then I played the first mission of the full game on my freinds PS3 and was quite turned off. It felt worse then I remember, the overall polish was lacking extremely and it just didnt play like I had remember. Good game but certainly no san andreas.

It's one truly fun game to play and so far my top GOTY 2010 contender along with RDR.

The game is very fun and just overall a good game. Only if we would see more games like this.

I disagree Saints Row 2 was more of a follow up to GTA San Andreas.

My roomie is playing through "San Andreas" currently, so I did a comparison andI thinkyour post is afair call in a LOT of ways. The game's scope is uber-huge and there are so many little things to do and stuff to blow up it's actually (JC2) what I always WANTED in a GTA game but never really found when it comes to targetting and just the fun of causing chaotic destruction.

I'll be buyin' a copy as soon as it dips to the $25 region... I'm broke after recent purchases.

By the way if you're looking for a quick escape find an upright propane tank and keep it mentally marked. When the heat gets too extreme just grapple-hook yourself to the tank and shoot it once for a quick rocket ride to the stratosphere... just remember to bail before it gets to it's apex or you'll get blowed up real good.

The first time i pulled that trick off was the minute I was sold on the game... then I got a look at it's SCOPE - Watch the trailer after the demo is finished, you'll see what I mean. The place is HUGE with a lot of different environments from jungle to urban sprawl...

... can't wait. This is the game I SHOULD have bought instead of "InFamous"... which I like, sorta, but this game makes me laugh and cheer a LOT more...

Saints row 2 came out after gta san andreas> so all they had 2 do was copy and paste> They're not original
