I'm impressed.

Seems to be a very good online service, and i've already downloaded a few demoes, patched games etc.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could reccomend some games from the PSN store that particulary stand out?

I was interested in super puzzle fighter HD remix, does anyone have an opinion on it?

I only got a PS3 a month ago so I'm pretty new. I've downloaded Super Stardust HD (a 21st Century Asteroids), and Pixel junk Eden which is addictive as hell but also both relaxing and frustrating. Both have demos available so you can try before you buy and are only about a fiver. Bionic Comando has been getting very good reviews as has The Last Guy. The two I've downloaded also have trophy support which is a nice bonus that I didn't think I'd be bothered about but adds a lot of replay value to the games.

I'm really impressed by the quality of the titles available and if you have a bit more extra cash you have Siren and Warhawk which are basically full retail games avalable for download. Burnout Paradise is supposedlly joining them shortly as well. Download a few demos and see what you thing ;)

Warhawk is pretty fun. They just released trophies for it. SSHD is fun for a while but then it tends to get a little dull but that's probably why it's only $10 and it has trophies too. Whatever you do DON'T get PAIN. That might be the worst game on the PSN

I own Super Puzzle Fighter HD Remix, color are vibrant, music is arcade-like and loud, it's a nice Tetris game, but can't entertain you for long, Bionic Commando is fun, but once you finish it it's pretty much over as the challenging are frustrating and way impossible. (c'mon who's going to collect 5 stars on each challenge???) I've got Pixel Junk Monsters which is very fun, Tekken 5 (i'm a big Tekken fan) and i might be getting Warhawk soon :) I think Warhawk might be the biggest game on the PSN, but it's online only, so if you can't always be online for a certain reason, you might not want to buy it... maybe...

w/e you do don't buy a game that you can get on a disc, like warhawk for example. why you ask? because you can't sell the game when you get bored of it, and it will also give them reason to put more and more games on the psn...eventually this will lead to NO DISC'S. and many of you might be like oh well thats cool not having discs, but this also means you won't be able to go rent at the video store, and you can't share your disc with a friend...lots of reasons to avoid this if you can.

I agree with you there mach, it also is annoying only being able to play that game on the profile it was downloaded on. What happens when your hard drive messes up??? You lose all your games, or is there a back up on psn? I hate the fact that everything is going online. I like buying games, that i can touch and smell (I dont smell all my games) and appreciate the excited opening up of the packaging and being very careful of putting the disc into the console for that very first time. Sure, there are positive reasons in buying things online, but, keep the discs.

I have SSHD and PixelJunk Monsters, both of which are great games.

I also have warhawk, disc version. Which is one of the funnest games I've played. I just bought the expansions which adds a heck of a lot to the game with 3 new maps and vehicles and jetpacks, which are hilarious, when you see what people do with them.

I also have Rachet and Clank: Quest for Booty, and if your a ratchet fan, or plan to buy R&C Future: Tools of Destruction. Then I also recommned getting that game. Its 15 dollars and its a lot of fun.

PAIN was so stupid.. a waste of $9.99 and not even a hint of nudity.. -_-

Anyway, your best bets are:

-Warhawk
-Super Stardust HD
-The Last Guy
-Bionic Commando Rearmed
-Tekken: Dark Resurrection HD

Personally, I'd go with The Last Guy because I already have Warhawk and am not interested in the other games.

I really enjoyed the demo.

DA MUZIK WUZ THUMPIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!
