Just finished Metal Gear Solid 4. I feel saddened now!!

I sold the game after I finished Act 1. Not my cup of tea.

No, i can't blame you. I did finish the game, and i did think that it's a good game. However, that being said, this is probably the most overrated game i ever played.

I'm the kind of person who always puts gameplay over story, and i will admit, it had a very good story. Seemed a lot more like a movie than game, though. Cutscenes were WAAAYYYY too long in some parts, and i almost fell asleep during the end cutscene. And in certain parts of the story i just didn't really give a ****.

Also, i havent had the desire to play it again since i beat it. Been considering selling it.

almost 21. it made me cry cause it was sad to see big boss die like that. i just really got into the story. i mean ive only been playin since back when mgs1 was the newest, but i grew up with these characters and it was just sad to see how it all ended. i mean snake gettin burned like that and not even knowin that wasnt even big boss and just bein forced to keep goin through all that sh*t. i know tons of people that cried at the end of that game. pretty much everyone i talked to back around when i came out said they had the same reaction. made we were just more into the story than most people

If you want to get technical then their won't be a game like that again or a developer like him because everyone is unique, if someone else did MGS4 it would of been totally different then how it turned out, he is a unique individual and therefore no one will be him again and that means no one will think like him again and as a result his work will not be duplicated again. Now if their is going to be an equally good developer or game that's a different story because that wasn't said, just "not a game or developer like this again." I think their will be more great games to come, will they be better? I don't know...but theirs always a FEW (most games suck in my opinion) good ones.

As I completed the game I stopped for a while. The feeling was we may never experience a game like this again. There simply is no game like it out there and there never will be ( maybe a MGS 5 ). It has deeply rooted my justification for buying a PS3 just like I did with PS1 and PS2. The game had all emotions a person can express. Hideo Kojima - master of the arts of video game production. There will be no other developer like this guy and for that I solute you. And I hope we maybe can look forward to even a MGS5. MGS4 was an absolute success in my book and should be nominated and grab the title for Game Of The Year.

Anyone who felt the same way please give us your views.

To be honest, I never knew how much I liked Raiden until I thought he was dead. (end of Act 4) I really was sad that day and it surprised me that I was.
