1. It was ether a PSP or a Wii did I choose right?Congratulations my friend, you have just made the best purchase in your life (maybe apart from the PS3 :D) 1. lol, you cant really compare the two. A Wii is a console and a PSP is a handheld, they have their own strengths and weaknesses. But I personally prefer Sony's products over Nintendo's as Nintendo usually makes stuff which kids are interested in (Mario, Zelda, Nintendogs), but I'm a teen :) 2. Thats really weird as mentioned above. Make sure to insert memory card in the slot and then close it with the rubbery plug. If you already tried this, then visit the store you bought it from (also mentioned above). 3. Im not really sure, you could buy a full body case (as mentioned above :D) but I prefer holding the console itself. Anyway, i got a white PSP in which the fingerprints dont show. 4. If you bought a value pack, use the included cleaning cloth which is VERY good. Otherwise buy a replacement from GAME (europe), Gamestop (North America). 5. Here we go m8, this is my top 10 list:- 1) Metal gear Solid - PO (stealth action adventure) 2) Burnout Dominator (arcade driving) 3) Tekken - DR (fighting) 4) Ratchet and Clank (platform) 5) Killzone Lib (3rd person shooter) 6) Lumines (puzzle) 7) GTA - Liberty city stories (Action adventure) 8) Monster Hunter Freedom (Action RPG) 9) Daxter (platform) 10) Ace Combat - Skies of Deception (dogfighting) Hope this helps. :D

Same with Mario and metoid nothing kiddy there. I bought a psp over a ds and I like my psp just as much and any nindtendo product. The only people that think nintendo is kiddy are kids that play adult games and shouldnt be. Personaly I'm not biased I'll play any system has quality games. I like the ps3 but hated the ps2 the ps2's grafix blew. The only thing I like about the ps2 was the game selection.

1. It was ether a PSP or a Wii did I choose right?depends what you like. Wipeout, burnout are great racers. If you like GTA get LCS. Those 3 games retail for 20 bucks. Also check out Daxter and Tekken.
yea I'd say you did. Wii is fun but I'd much rather have my PSP
2. memory stick keeps poping out y?
dont know mine doesn't do that...
3. finger mark all over my new psp is there anything to protect it?
get a case and screen protector w/ cleaning cloth
4. what do I use to clean the finger marks?
cloth that comes with the screen protector
5. can someone recemnd me a game? i just got Atv which is really borring..N_Six

I like the ps3 but hated the ps2 the ps2's grafix blew. The only thing I like about the ps2 was the game selection. Well, everyone has their own opinion. I have played a lot of Nintendo games and love them too (Mario, ecspecially Pokemon), they blew my heart away. However, I still strongly stick to the fact that the majority of Nintendo games are noticeably targeted towards the younger generation and are strictly censored. Remeber before the PS1 was released. The only thing videogames were about was Mario, Sonic, Zelda and Donkey Kong. Dont get me wrong, the SNES was and is a great console but most people over the age of 20 didnt play it. I cant recall a single 15+ or 18+ game released for Nintendos consoles apart from RE4 (correct me if im wrong). Then with the PS1, we saw GTA (18+ heavy violence and swearing, drugs), RE2,3 (very heavy violence), Silent Hill (same) and much more. There were loads of games with 15+ and 18+ tags. Same case with PS2. In my opinion and experience, I cannot recall any game apart from Red Steel or RE4 that were violent grapically and had uncensred dialogue. Although gameplay of nintendo games are on par with Sony and MS, it appeals less to older people. However, that could all change with the release of the Wii. :D[QUOTE="Topmanfaz"][QUOTE="N_Six"]1. If you were looking for a "virtual console" then the PSP is the right choice, after all, there's a lot of homebrew out there...
You have to look at the two types of gameplay you'd be having... I mean you buy them for different purposes, the Wii you'd buy to play at home, you sit (or stand up) and play after a hard day (just to exhaust yourself some more). It's a console, so it's not really going anywhere with you but it does have a completely different interface, the wii remote allows for different gameplay for obvious reasons.

Are you sure it's inserted properly? Hold the unit with the screen towards you, as if you were playing it, turn the memory stick so that the contacts (gold/metal bits) are facing you and insert it with the metal bits going in first. There should be a small amount of resistance, but only a spring. It'll "click" and lock into place.

You can get screen protectors, I personally like the 4gamers players kit, it comes with a cleaning cloth, wrist strap, screen protector, UMD cases and replacement nubs.

I can recommend a lot of games, you may want to try Burnout legendswhich is now available at a greatly reduced price, it's one the better games that came out early and still looks fantastic on the PSP, I hear Burnout dominator is better but haven't personally tried it.
If you're into the Japanese-esqué RPG games, you may want to try Monster Hunter Freedom, it's got all the giant-sword-slinging-monster-hunting action you'd ever want on a handheld.
If you're into flight sims, there's Ace combat X which is an arcadey flight sim with a well made story/campaign mode.
There's the platformers like Daxter, I personally haven't tried it but it comes highly recommended from a lot of players.
Tekken: Dark resurrection is there for you if you like fighting games, or there's Shin budokai of you like your fighting games with a side of Dragonball Z.
i just got mine today and it has like 8 dead pixels  i bought it from newegg.com.X360PS3AMD05I'm pretty sure you can get a replacement if it' over 5 dead pixels, can someone correct me if I'm wrong?
People still buy the PSP??LgmagicYo bruv. This is the PSP board, your outnumbered :D Only joking, why not? The PSP is a great console with great features, awesome games and incredible lasting value. Its completely transformed my life since I bought it. Still, i dont understand why DS is outselling it, I think the DS is built for kids who like touching puppies and popping baloons with a pen.
