It is not a special store promo all stores would have it but they were given an extremely limited supply you had to pick it up early morning day one in most cases.

Edit- I checked and the code is there now. Thanks again, I never would have thought to look there :P They never told me it would be there when I pre-ordered Infamous from them.

i just bought infamous from an reserve copy order from gamestop i pick infamous up today and no code i am pissed and now feed up with gamestop. This will be the last time i ever go out of my way to pre-order a game and do not get what i was promised. Even though i do like this game and happy i bought it but one of the main motives was to have that beta code.

GameStop only guaranteed the Gigawatt Blades code; the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta code, unfortunately, was from Sony - that's why it was inside the case. Since most stores only got a few copies with the codes inside, they probably just gave those out to the people who picked up their game copies first; if you waited to pick up your copy for almost a week, you were probably going to be out of luck. That DOES suck, though.

I wonder how many of those inFamous copies with the Uncharted 2 beta codes in them are still out there "in the wild"? Probably not many - and those last ones will probably be gone by the time the beta begins on Wednesday.
