Let me got ahead and first of all thank to all who posted in my defense...I appreciate the support of my newbie-ness to the board and the system.

Second, to those getting on my case about no reading the faq's, that's fine to. My mistake. I actually read them after I posted.

But to be honest, I just assumed (shouldn't have I guess) that it came with some sort of hd cable's to be able to play in High Def right out of the box. I mean, you look at the system and it seems "high" quality, so I guess I was dissapointed to only see the regular standard def connections. And I'm not complaining, I'm gonna go out and buy an HDMI today.

BTW, anyone know where to buy an HDMI cable for cheap (other than online stores)? Thanks in advance.

Wal-Mart for around $35.

But you get built in free online with a Blu-ray player where if you wanted all those features on 360 (HD-DVDead), you`d have to pay...350 dollars.

You can get HDMI cables for 5.

I`m not flaming the 360, just comparing.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the price in comparison to Microsoft's hi-def cables, and your not a whore for expanding your horizons. There's alot of great things about all the platforms out now. So look at the bright side, at least you have something to whine about.
