Just saw Vita for the first time.

You guys have probably gotten a lot of these threads, but I couldn't stop my self. I never go into gamestop EVER so today was the first time I laid eyes on a PSVita and I am floored. I was skeptical seeing only MNR and RAyman origins that I wanted for it but, now I'm sold:D. Htis made me relise two things. One sony can't advertise worth a crap the commericals don't do it justice at all. It is a little big for pockets, much bigger then I'm anticipated, but thats okay cuz I usually have one of those pull string packs with me anyway. I'm pumped!

Now for a question is that glass covering it or just a layer of plastic on top of the screen and th areas around the buttons?

Amazing sexy tech, it just *feels* better to play a Vita then a 3DS, the hardware is terrible. Ill buy a 3DS but not for a long time until hopefully they do a redesign. Hopefully SOny gets some big guns out and people start paying more attention to the Vita, it deserves more attention.

i know exactly how you feel.

no matter how many videos and stuff you read about this little monster, you cant describe the magic you feel when you get this thing in your hands and try it, after reading reviews, watching videos, unboxing and gameplays, its nothing compared to when you play it with your own hands.

the weight, the big arse screen, the graphics, how comfortable it feels thye buttons...i fall in love, after i tried it and as soon i got home, inmediattely bought one on ebay (it should arrive the next week)

and dont worry about games, every console or handheld have crappy games at launch, the thing will get more third parties support and more kickass exclusives. (gravity rush on june)

also dont pay attention to the people saying that its another dreamcast, just remember how it was for the 3ds when it came out so have faith and patience...lot of patience

Hey I have another question. According to others on the forums when playing DS games the 3DS apperently takes less battery, I'm assuming because the games are easier for the 3DS to play. Is the same true for vita? do psp games take less juice?

i know the vita doesnt have a lot of aaa games right now, but just wait after E3 and like i said gravity rush comes out o june and looks great, alos resistance 3is coming.

besides you can also play psp games. one of the reason i want a vita its beacuse i always wanted a psp but now with the vita and the psp games looking better with that gorgeous screen its perfect to smash some psp games until the vita games catalog fills

Never played a Persona game before, but looking at gameplay videos I will most likely pick this up.

Is it better the Persona 3 Portable? I found it kinda boring. You cant even explore, you just click around a map or picture of a place and peoples heads appear and take over you screen when you talk to them. The only time you actually do anything is random boring maps. I thought it was gonna be way better the way it gets praise. AutoPilotOn

when i played P3 on my old ps2 i loved, the story, characters, the need for new items and the best part, new mosnters and combinations. i dont think p4 its a lot different but the story will hook you up

I played it at ebgames for the first time and It was good but did not apeal to me. The graphics were good but oddly, I did not like the 2 analogue sticks and there doesn't look to be too many games out for it right now. The system itself a little to big to be portable or so I'll stick with my psp until theres a pricedrop.

I didn't like the 3ds hardware either but it seems like it's library is different enough from the home consoles.
