Same here. I suspected IO was using the old shooting engine from Hitman, and it was terrible. Not to mention the graphics, which look like they were ripped from Blood Money, an already ugly game for it's time. I just lost all my faith for IO. I hope they can redeem themselves with FF2.
i guess we'll just have to keep waiting for a next gen Freedom Fighters, i was this - close to changing my AC preorder to Kane and Lynch, but i'm glad i didn't. I was on the edge with this one so it looks like this'll just be a rent for me.
One online mode? Where you know someone will turn on you so you know what to expect. Sounds like a perfect game for cheesers.
I had high hopes for this game, thinking that there was going to be a robust amount of online modes. That one mode and a profanity filled game will not warrant a purchase. I am currently playing COD4, having a hell of a time with that game online, so to buy this gameand have just one online mode just wouldn't have cut it for me. Interestingly enough, I never liked the Hitman games because I never finished any of them. Assassin's Creed all the way!
Still going to get the game...Becuase I enjoy TPS slightly more than FPS and I thiink K&L is a top TPS which will entertain me. Also, since my opinion mattered the most to me and I like what I saw (trailers)... This will definitely be in my 'to buy' list. :P
