Was Kllzone 2 delayed to add touchssense. I read something somewhere about sony maybe announcing touchsense at TGS. What you guys think?ff7isnumbaone

Noob question: What's touchsense, another word for Rumble? As far as I understand this title is still slated for "2008". That means that they are probably saving the game for the Christmas shop next year.

i think Touchsense is the new rumble technology that Immersion invented for Sony which is a point specific rumble

meaning if you are shot from the left on a FPS or TPS then the left side of the controller will vibrate rather than just one giant buzz of the controller

Touchsense technology in a game controller:

--With the new technology, vibrations can be crisper, shorter in duration, more closely spaced, more in sync with onscreen events, simultaneous, and both stronger and more subtle to supply a new level of realism.

--Shorter, crisper effects allow the feel of machine gun fire to be more staccato-like and also more closely synchronized with the sounds and appearance of realistic gun fire.

--New levels of strength and variation allow gamers to feel the accelerating surge of powering up a light saber, followed by the transition to a subtle hum, then the jolt of clashing with their opponent's light saber.

And no, if Killzone 2 was delayed in the first place (don't think it was ever supposed to come out this year) then it's for other more important technical reasons...

I mean there's 2 potential triple A games coming out soon that don't have rumble, and no one is moaning over it.
