And to the OP, I dunno, I think you can choose what region you want to play in, like warhawk.
And dedicated servers usually have none or very little laag.

Well thats excellent news if true.. i didn't know KZ2 would have dedicated servers... although not all Sony's games have them.. Motorstorm 1 didn't...

What the hell? Is that what a server room looks like for Sony?
Is that how DS works? Just a bunch of PS3s left on 24/7?
So when servers are down for maintenance, they have to turn all those off?
lmfao, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!
So does Dedicated Servers mean that we can create our own rooms, like Metal Gear Online? Or will it be Peer 2 Peer like CoD4?
If anyone can answer all these questions, kudos.
[QUOTE="navstar29"][QUOTE="samuraiguns"]I have a feeling you might feel like snake if you enter that room! Amazing though!I believe KZ2 deserves the same respect also.

Dedicated servers just mean that the game is being played off a server who's only purpose is to host games. ie. in cod4, when the host leaves the game goes with it, with dedicated servers there are no hosts, therefore no randomly dropped games and your connection to cod4 was dictated by how good your connection was to the host, where as with dedicated servers, its how good your connection is to that server, which is usually stellar. Whether or not you can create your own rooms ... thats up to Guerilla, and how they implement it. I believe you can setup clan tournaments and clan matches online. But I'm not sure about just creating rooms for regular matches ... I sure hope you can, hopefully someone in the beta can answer that.

No only Warhawk, SOCOM, Resistance.
Got the joke, suttle, but I got it.
No only the "master panel" that controls every PS3 sector(section).
Dedicated Servers are like the examples I have just given you, the "create your own room" nonsense is just "Online Framework".
Since when was the Call of Duty series Peer 2 Peer?
Im no expert, but, just stating the obvious.
SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
that is all...

Oh, well I always thought CoD4 was P2P, because you're using another person's connection since they're host.
Thanks anyway :D

COD4 is P2P, hence the reason for random game drops and hosts, and bad connections. Not that it happens a lot, but its annoying when it does. And I just watched the Bravo KZ2 special and they said you can set up your own rooms for online play, and you have a lot of options for customization, ie. Which classes/weapons/maps/gametypes you wanna play with. For Sony's own online titles (first party), like Warhawk and R2, they all got Dedicated Servers, so I expect KZ2 will as well.[QUOTE="navstar29"][QUOTE="iamshivy"] holy **** are u sure it has dedicated servers.. bec that means no lagsamuraiguns

Thats a freaking lot of PS3s. Are they sure they need that just to setup some servers?
