Killzone 2 Shotguns

Is anyone els sick of the insanely good shotguns in killzone 2? I mean these things can kill you from impossible lengthes without a headshot. Iv been killed easily from more then 7 feet away with full health. Do you think they will patch it so theyre not as powerfull?

I don't have a problem either. Just stay further back.

If your good at the assualt rifle you can make those guys your chumps easily. And you really think a blast from shotty with 00buck wouldn't kill you from 2 yards? Really, I mean really? lol.

Also guys you got to remember that in KZ2 you do not regenerate full health when you have received damage. So sometimes when you think it was lucky kill or a cheap kill, just remember you may have sustained damage and wasn't full health anyway, thats why medics are handy :) Think alot of people think you regenerate tofull health like cod4 or others. But since there is a class system with medics you will need a blood pak from a medic inorder to get back to full health. Dang I love running as a medic and giving myself blood paks lol, I've had people complain dang is that guy going to die lol.

I doubt they'll change the power of the shotguns. It's the Rocket Launchers that I don't like. I don't know why everyone uses them, they're no fun to kill with.

actually TC is kinda right, the reason why im sayin kinda, cuz apparently some of u arent experiencing it. or just lyin. i been in games where the guy is literary feets away, and honest to god was impossible at least from the distance he/she was shootin from to get me with one kill with a shotgun, yes i know the shotgun is deadly at close range, but its more deadlier apparently or just as deadly from far away, i really do hope the patch it or fix the weapon balance, cuz out of all the weapons the shotgun is the one that really amazes me and pisses me off. like TC said from 7 feet, is kinda bull to get shot and die without a headshot and have full health and just die from ONE HITJoKeR_421

It happens to me occasionally when someone kills me with the shotgun, but there are times when I kill someone with it and think "How the **** did I kill him from here?" There are also times when you shoot someone with it up close and you wonder how they didn't drop. It's not like it happens every time, though. At least not enough to bother me.

i havent had any problems with the shotgun

I think that the shotguns are fine.

They dont bother me.

The shotguns are fine.

In close range they will pretty much always kill you in one shot unless you have additional armor class.

Mid range they will still do below average damage but if you move around well - it will barely do much.

Keep in mind that many people get injured and still decide to fight shotgun user close combat.

It's a shotgun for a reason, keep your distance and you can pistol the enemy with easy. ;)

I know what you mean, You can kill someone from 50 feet away with a shotgun and further than that.
