EDIT: In fact it did not take me long to get good at the game, it throws stuff at you in just the right way to teach you the controls. It just doesnt tell you its doing so, which is its biggest flaw.

Really? I trust reviewers, not people who have already invested $60 in a game and don't want to look like idiots. I trust the people who are paid to be impartial over a kid who put down $60 on a product no one had tested yet. Seems common sense to me.

Gamestop was selling it. Ciruit City, Best Buy, Target and Walmart aren't selling it until Sept 4

That's pretty silly. If the game sucked, they'd just return it or sell it... not come online and hype it up.

I totally agree and if it was on the 360 fanboys would be hatin' on the PS3 and claiming they have another hit. SOunds similar to the issues with Dead Rising "Can't see the text, poor aiming, framrate and slowdown issues, but it is fun, it is awesome it is great" why can they overlook issues but when ps3 owners do it we are considered idiots?

That's the dumbest arguement in the world. Lair got a bad score on Gamepot 4.5 in addition to a bad score on IGN 5.5 and a hefty handful of bad review on other sites. Why? Because the rest of the world hates the PS3? Yea right, the rest of the world owns a PS2, there are about 4X as many PS fans as fans of any other console.

Every time a massively hyped game gets less then amazing scores there is an outcry of PS3 fanboys claiming they alone know the truth and that the world is against them. Are you serious? Grow up and look around, reviewrs are paid to be objective. PS3 faboys put down $60 on a game reviews told them was bad because they were convinced by it's marketing and are looking to believe in their console. Yea, that's real objective.
