It's a fantastic game, but I was outraged that for all the time I put in to finish it I got one measly trophy (excepting the game completion trophies). Seriously? How do you design trophies so you can easily only get one? Short of spending an obscene time scouring for collectibles--many of which were cruelly hidden with dirty pool tactics--you couldn't get much. By the time I got to the end I barely noticed the ending from fury that I'd wasted my time.

sorry the point of trophies and achievements has been ruined by the fact that people expect them to just be given to them by doing easy things or just playing through the game. its supposed to be a challenge, enjoy it that way. they shouldnt be spoon fed to youCouldn't have said it better NirdBerd. I have damn near 6000 trophies, but I have played over 470 games for PS3. Trophies were addictive and fun for a while, but then they just got old. "congrats, you beat the tutorial" "Oh congrats, you died 1000 times" "You put the game in" REALLY?
LOLZ!
Yeah, I love stuff like that...
Trophy hunting can spoil your over-all appreciation of a game, I have found (not to make a pun). When I first started getting games with the trophy system in them, I became obssessive, but after platting one game, might have been "Resistance 2", I swore off it. The hunt had ruined my love of that game and soured me on playing R3 - Although, I have been thinking about it, recently... Might find a cheap copy so I can finally finish the series... Not that I'm obssessive anymore, or anything...
... But I think there's a distinct difference between finishing a story, and playing so much MP that you finally get that "50,000 Hours of MP" trophy (or whatever it was) to finish the plat.
