LBP Beta

Did anybody get a message from p10896 saying you've been selected by SCEE to participate in the LBP beta, and it also ask you to respond with you're password and sign-in ID. I'm almost sure this is a scam don't fall for it.

Respond with a fake email and password so they actually try to use it. Make the password and e-mail very long.

The next day, respond with **** you.

I had the same message from him claiming I was selected for the LBP beta. A definite scam for 2 reasons: 1. He started by saying he was from SCEE (the UK/ Euro branch of PlayStation) and ended with Sony Computer Entertainment America. 2. Sony never does this sort of thing over the PSN system. They don't even need to ask for your password in the first place. If chosen they will contact via the e-mail you have for your account.

In other words, anytime you get a PSN message from someone claiming to rep Sony and request your account info do NOT give him anything (other than a creative insult perhaps for thinking you would fall for the trick).

i dont at all, on my other acount im level 20 something with like 20000+posts and im just baffled how this guy has that. and since im bored right now im just interested.

There are ways of levelling up other than posting you know.
