im from Australia but in Singapore at the moment. downloaded it from singapore,and it worked fine..

try to delete your folding home and re install it???

it may be got pulled? but theres no news about that tho? dunno if european got it...but im pretty sure most asian countries doesnt know this since i went to some asian forum and they know nothing about this...

anecdotal evidence, via a google search, shows that several people have been able to download life with playstation around sometime last night, but most people have not.

it will probably be released mid-wednesday or thursday, since it is apparently done.

He speaks the truth, just checked. Go run Folding@Home and it will have you update and then download Life with Playstation. Downloading now.

*Edit* The Life download is 126mb for anybody who is wondering.

But unfortunately, the download was only available because it mistakenly leaked out while Sony was testing the app. Now that that's been discovered, it's been pulled (source: http://www.ps3fanboy.com).

Yeah, for the few minutes I spent with it last night, I can pretty much guarantee I'll never be using it. It's simply a huge globe that you can scroll around and see the temperature and top headlines for major cities. The headlines are all from Google News. I will withhold final judgement, though, seeing as how it was a premature release.

The music was rather relaxing, but I really see no reason to use this, other than the fact that I believe you can Fold while viewing it. But, again, I don't use Fold so I have no desire to read the news on a PS3.

Not trying to bash this program, don't get me wrong, its just nothing to get excited about. Its one of those things where you'll be like yeah its cool because its free....but will you ever really use it?

By the way, I am in the U.S.

its ok i kidna thought that too lol at first when i saw the thread and i couldnt find the damn update lol but when i went around and read about it apparently they were lucky not liars lol and damnit i need some of that luck rubbed on me lol

yea it was an accident it wasnt suppose to be for download, sony was just trying to test somethin but it got leaked out and sony had to shut it down and remove it for NOW!

go to system update on the XMB and itll update the firmaware to 2.43csadhoo

yea the update is there thats normal and it doesnt effect ur ps3 in any way so basically that update is useless unless u live in japan and that update has NOTHIGN to do with life with playstation if u read, like me and few others mentioned it was an accident that sony put it for download, few got lucky to download it before it was removed. sony was just testing it out and stuff and the made a mistake by putting it for download, when they found out wat they did they removed in in matter of mins.!!

i know i was so happy and when i went to download it, it wasnt there.....found out it was removed, i even went through the trouble by deleting my foldin which i lost my 1000+ work units thought thats the only way?! but still didnt get it. maybe tomorrow it might be available or next week or soon lol hope its tomorrow or next week i really want this feature or program.

I'm guessing the new update included Life w/ PS, but it was meant for Japan only. Then someone found out it was released in the US by accident last night and some jump in and got it, then Sony found out and pulled it. Anyone know if Japan got the Life w/ PS? Oh well, I don't use folding @ home so I don't think Life w/ PS will be anything I use. I thought Life w/ PS was something on the XMB that showed local news and weather reports but it seems it's accessed through the folding feature.onthalookout

yea ur right, just wish and hope its released soon, as far as i can tell from vids. people posting and all its almost done and looks stable just hope they let us download it again
