Do they both come with MGS4, and a PS3?

Are they both the topic of the MGS4 hotline which you provided the number to?

If you've answered yes to any of those, my question to the rep was valid.

the 80GB version has the standard black PS3 and is sold at most stores. Not limited edition

the 40GB is sold ONLY through Konami.com, is limited & has a special gunmetal grey case w/ MGS4 insigna & tagging as well as gunmetal grey controller.

But the hotline is only for the Gun metal grey one then, since they say orders can be placed at Konami.com, and all the options pertain to cancelling or reporting defective KONAMI orders. You just tied yourself in a knot.

Well i'd call again; but i'm at work. If sombody else calls and confirms that in fact the Gunmetal Grey PS3 in the Limited Edition Konami.com Bundle does in fact have a full year warranty though Sony; i'll believe you.

Until then im going to have to believe what i was told. I will call again to double check when i get home though. It goes on sale tonight i believe.

Actually, tru, i forgot the LE aspect of this, yeah its a 90 day warranty, what a stupid move on Konami and Sony's part (/Sarcasm) i'd rather these LE go to someone more deserving, like someone who can read and distinguish the difference bewteen software and hardware.

my god man. that warrenty obviously describes the SOFTWARE included in the package. GAMES ARE SOFTWARE. sony will still cover the HARDWARE in the ps3. even if konami is selling the damn ps3 sony still built it. and their manufacturers warrenty still applies to it. it'll be a little mail in card inside the box. the only reason they put warrenty details is for the game.

plus someone already called the number you gave and confirmed you're wrong. all your doing now is fighting an already lost battle. sheesh this is like 4 days in a row of argueing with people with poor reading comprehension

If it is I would be a happy camper, since i was planning on buying it. But like i said, when i called and asked SPECIFICALLY about the Gunmetal Grey Limited Edition PS3 Bundle. I said i read on their site 90 day warranty & they confirmed it.

Face it, any PS3 bought anywhere is under warranty for a year after the day you purchase it. Just like any 360 in any form has a 3 year one. It doesn't matter who sells the PS3, I can open a store and sell a PS3, but it's still Sony's and is covered by Sony no matter what.

I just called them and asked them:

"What will be the warranty for the MGS4 bundle"

Response: "For the PS3 the warranty will be THE REGULAR SONY WARRANTY and for the KONAMI MGS4 Will be 90 days which is the STANDARD KONAMI WARRANTY".

Software is the game itself not the console. The console is hardware. This warranty is for the game itself.
