This is still around? I got modded for flaming... I wonder if the price has gone down yet? Still on my radar but acquiring funds is... well blame it on thee economy. I keep downloading all the free DLC (the Kabuki is my favorite so far) and with Ghostbusters and Judge Dread stuff I'm really want to get it. (the Slimmer head is hilarious)

26 and found LBP very enjoyable. I love to see what people make online but the controls are floaty and there is alot of garbage online as well as the few greats. Overall I am glad I played it but got board with it. If you have friends over it is better.

Lets put it this way, A real gamer no matter what age doesn't have a preference of wether a game is rated E or T, or M. There are many who limit to M rated games because of blank reason are just ignorant.

Anyway back on topic, as a 23 year old who has played video games for 21+ years, loves LBP. Even though I haven't played it in awhile since I been playing some other games, I won't doubt to anyone that LBP is a great game to play.

Does anyone look at dates on topics? Getting kind of annoyed by newbies bumping ancient topics. Seriously, why do people make accounts just to do that?

ok first im not a noob I made an account for gamespot for what the website is for, there's forums right so other players can read and get feedback and leave there own opinions of things!!! so sorry that you don't like that i had a problem in 2013 and the post was made in 2009. doesn't mean kids still play it and that adults still play it.. so get all "annoyed" because i wanted to find adults. which you probably are not,. to play the game with.

"newbie" simply means newcomer... I wasn't using it as an insult. You aren't going to get response from someone who made a topic 4 years ago. If anything you should have started your own topic. And the TC was asking for opinions in the first place, not trying to create somewhere for adults to add each other and play LittleBigPlanet.

The more I play it, the more I find the series awful. I loved the first one only to justify the $60 I spent on it (which I rarely spend on games), and it's been shelved for a while. Tried LBP2 the other day, but it suffers from a lot of the same problems as the first game. That being said, I haven't tried the Vita or PSP installments and may buy the Vita one soon seeing as I enjoyed the demo.

I am 21, I've been playing Little Big Planet and Little Big Planet 2 since they came out. As much as I am not at all bothered by the simplistic and almost childish style of Little Big Planet games, I also approach them as a game developer. Since I am not very good at coding and I am terrible at animating, Little Big Planet 2 is an intuitive way to create the games I want to make without the complexity of making a real game. It's also easier to make logic within Little Big Planet that can be applied to other games. I have helped my friend, who is a real game developer, with the logical tricks I learned to work with in Little Big Planet. It is quite limited but with research and problem-solving, there is usually a way to expand these limits, and provided a Little Big Planet 3 doesn't overly simplify all the tools that exist already, I think people will continue to build better and better games out of Little Big Planet 2. It's amazing as an expressive tool, and I think the only things that are lacking is some kind of automatic number processing tool, without having to build one, and a saving/memorising tool to link between levels.

It bored the hell out of me. I don't know why. I just don't care for it. I'd rather play a Super Mario game or something.

A game's target audience or it's age rating have little to do with whether one can enjoy a game or not. Otherwise games like pokemon wouldn't be selling like mad. Personally I liked LBP, but on the other hand I seldom play M rated games anyway so maybe my appreciation of a game like LBP didn't come as a big surprise to me. I can still imagine though that awesome feeling of enjoying a game I would have otherwise overlooked because its not like the usual stuff I play.

why don't you get yourself little big planet 2, where you can create pretty much any type of game you can think of, some users have made some create fps games on there well worth it and it still has the whole lbp to play with.

Most gamers range anywhere from 16-40 years old. A broad range of gamers out there. I'm in my early 30's and I grew up with the days of the large Arcades, Atari and NES. A great game is a great game. It doesn't matter if its All ages or Mature.
