so i just started this game after finishing far cry.....i would just like to say........this game is the pinnacle of true repetativeness....i also have R2 and i hope its not as lame as this is looking so far.
like i said, if u have played R1, you wouldnt complain about Far cry 2...that game was amazing and levels above this arcade shooter that takes you down linear paths. far cry 2 is open world, so you wont be taking the same path twice ;)
RFOM was great when it launched, but i do find it hard to go back and enjoy the campaign now. R2 however is nothing liike RFOM, so you might like itmck92

I bought Resistance: Fall of Men after my playthrough of Resistance 2, and felt cheated because many people said the first one was better (which was part of the reason I got it).
its a 2 year old game which was rushed to launch, and it still has the 2nd best online ive played (halo3 is first) and as far as the campaign goes sure it was kinda by the book but the weapons where awesome to use. it may have impressed me more that it should have due to it being my first next gen experience but i would still recommend it over r2 :)

yea havent tried multiplayer yet, wanna try it after the campaign....far cry 2 multiplayer was addictive for a while especially because of the amount of different environments you could play in (alot of people contributed different and cool maps)...the one thing im looking forward to for r1 multiplayer is the last man standing one, sounds cool and actually has incentive Not to die other than score (which is why i usually lose interest in online shooters). when you die, you should ACTUALLY die :lol:
