omg guys I do no for you but warhawk rank system is the worst ever man wtf I need 5000 points to lvl up and each game with luck I made 40 points lol and + when warhawk was release there was rank problems so during 2 weeks I was the higher level I had every single thing but when the rank system was fix I turn down to chief sergent something like that ! damn Im so pissed every time I play now I get bored easy is painfull to have ugly clothes when I had the coolest player and also people in warhawk are not team workers lol
a ranking system shouldn't be easy or quick. It is what seperates the hardcore from the casual (especially considering the hardcore can only play on expert servers once you pass a certain rank)
Play Zones or CTF and be active on them, dont just focus on killing. Retrieve flags, capture flags, kill flag carriers, etc. Those are the ones that have given me the most profit of the modes. I havent tried Collect or Hero to check in full how much you can average on them
Just like real life, ranking means nothing but vested time. Skill is in the eyes of those who are in your presence. I'm a level 70 in WoW but it's not because I'm good. I just spent a lot of time on it. (to my eternal shame)

Yeah it's hard to rank up, but I stopped caring like two weeks after I started playing it. It's more fun to just play and mess around than to think about ranking up all the time.

yeah i know i hate when i'm in a 32 player ctf match and i'm the only person stopping the other team when they have the flag. i always wonder if anyone else knows that we're trying to win.

you basically stop getting new body parts at sergent major, the only thing you unlock afterwards is the same stuff but in color.
I agree at launch before the fix I was like Commander then after I got reset to like the 4th lowest ranking. I agree that it does seperate the hardcore from the casual, but the points are so damn low that you'd have to spend a LONG amount of hours just to level and such. After losing interest in the game before trophies I found that it was just too much to play. I only came back to collect the trophies I could get, maybe if those PSN cards came out sooner at bigger stores I would have played due to the expansions, but guess i'll have to wait.
I understand it does give you a lot of play time with the game and they made sure that you had a reason to keep playing, but if they divided it by half I think it would be perfect.
I think the ranking system is ridiculous. I'm glad they added the +50 points for the winning team. I like to rank up and get new stuff, but I just don't have the time to do it with school, work, and other games (spanning several systems). I don't think I will ever reach general in this game. But I don't really care, I just think it's fun.

Sadly it seems like I am always on the losing side.
But if I get an average of 100 points per game (which I dont) it would take 2,750 games for me to get the points for General. Thats a lot of games!
At 30 mins a game thats 82,500 Mins.

That is like playing Warhawk for 57 Total days!
But of course that is if you are good enough to get 100 each game.
That sounds like a lot but you get better the more you play, and eventually you earn more than 100 points a game. The average time to reach general is 1000 hours, or 41 days of playtime. The fastest ever was ABBO11 who did it in 710 hours.
