what bothered me the most with AC1 were the glitches. running along then bam your guy won't move. so you must reset and pray that the data doesn't get corrupted, but i kept coming back for more. i enjoyed the story, and the gameplay wasn't all that bad. it kept my interest long enough for me to complete the game, and now i want to know how the second game will play out. so "yes" i am excited and will be purchasing this game when it's released. i just hope that there won't be any glitches in the second game.

Every game could be considered repetitive if some of you think Assassin's Creed was. The story got me hooked and I did every missing to get the most out of it. Every part gave you more insight to the story so I ws glad to do it and it never got boring.

There are some AAA games that the dog above has described...

I loved the first game. I only found it a bit repetitive and I didn't really mind it. I will be buying Assassins Creed 2 day one.

There are too many technical flaws in AC, but Ubisoft DID address these issues and supposedly amended, and improved upon them in ACII. I enjoyed the first game, but it did become quite repetitive. ACII is enticing, but I think instead of purchasing it I'll rent it first.

i actually loved the game. i know why people are really despising the game....but the game world was awesome and felt organic. the mission types only lasted about 9x each, and the counter system was pretty responsive (better than some hack n slash button mashers). i'm really excited for ac2...

I'm not going to risk wasting the money. It probably won't be any better than the previous one. Everyone always tells me: "But you can swim this time dude!" The ability to swim doesn't make a game a must buy.

I'm indifferent to it. AC is currently the only game EVER that I have not completed. It was because of sheer boredom, and the fact that I got it at the same time as CoD4, and I think we all know where most of my playing time went to. I don't even know where my copy of the game is now. I never sold it but it's not with the rest of my games. Who knows.

I'm going to wait to see some more trailers and such are released. Hopefully Ubisoft will learn from their mistakes and make AC2 a lot more engaging.

i bought the first one cause my ps3 library was lacking games back then and i was desperate to play any games with a decent review but now that i have an ample collection of games and finished the first game i really dont care for the sequel

Honestly saying AC1 had a really great story. The first game's problem was mainly the lack of activities to do, I guess if they fixed that by adding lots more side quests into the sequel it would be a decent game. But for now I just don't feeling like caring about it.
