I have the Turtle Beach PX2 and I don't mind it.
It's wired but like that since I didn't like the idea of having to worry about the battery being charged or not.
It plugs into your PS3 and your TV and it would have been nice if it was just one connection but it's not a big deal.
I hear they are good too. I might be looking to get a pair of A40s in the near futureI hear Astro headsets are good.

from my experience, the best brand of headsets to choose from is turtle beach. i bought a tritton once and it was a terrible headset. the headset i plan on getting soon is the turtle beach xp400 headset
I thought about getting turtle beach but all the reviews I see say that they break or something like that especially the PX21s which I considered gettingfrom my experience, the best brand of headsets to choose from is turtle beach. i bought a tritton once and it was a terrible headset. the headset i plan on getting soon is the turtle beach xp400 headset

I'm also looking for one, however I don't really have the budget for a very expensive one. Does anyone know how good the Sony wireless one is or have any other cheap alternate suggestions? (OP, sorry for hijacking your thread, thought it would be better to post in here instead of creating a new topic.) callsignneptune
the sony wireless stereo headset is the headset i currently have. the sound quality is good (better than the trittons in my opinion) but you can get a better headset for $20 less. if you are on a budget then i suggest the turtle beach ear force px21 headset (the px21 headset is $80). the sound on the px21s are really good, they are confertable just like the sony wireless stero headset and the mic is adjustable (adjustable as in it bends so you can adjust it however you want).

I guess the people who reviewed them got either a faulty product or badly mishandled them.I have the Sony wireless headset and I love it. I use it just about every night and I love the fact that you can either turn the background sound or the voice down. The only drawback is the battery life. All you have to do is plug them into a usb port to charge but I have to charge them like every three days or so. lol But when you play for about 4-5 hrs a night I guess its not that bad lol. Anyway, they also work on my PC just by plugging them in So I personally think they are well worth the $100.00 price tag

the sony wireless stero headset is a good headset for its price but i don't recommend them. one problem they have is if the game sound gets higher, the mic sound doesn't so its hard to hear people half the time unless you turn down the game volume. the turtle beach brand headsets are the opposite. on the turtle beach headsets, if the game volume gets louder then so does the mic volume so its easy to hear people at all times without having to lower the game volume. also unlike the wireless stero headset, the mic volume and game volume are seperate where as in the wireless stero headset they are they same sliding button thing
