Nothing tops Battlefield's online, and the campaign looks really good too. Mine is in the mail.

I traded in Mag for battlefield...

So that should give you a good answer.

I've heard thigns in regards to mag, both good and bad, but I personally can't verify. I have been however playing BFBC2 for a few hours now and it really does deliver. I've been on the series for the most part since the first and I can honestly say this experience is awesome and quite possibly the best. If you pick this game up, you will not regret it.

Bad Company 2 online is really fun. 24 player battles is enough to have a good time, and it's a really good game too

Definitely BF:BC2, because it has SP campaign. I would never spend my money for a game with no SP.

I'd say MAG is a solid game but Bad Company is just a little better. The destruction physics are sweet and the vehicles are better. The gunplay is about the same but I'm a huge fan of BF1943 so I felt naturally at home. Either way you'll love it if you're a true fan of FPS games. They're both great. The only reason I wouldn't go with MAG is because I hear they plan on charging for the online.

on the 17th if I'm not mistaken, they've added ridiculous spread to a lot of weapons, now hitting your target is more of a matter of luck than skill...

seriously, with the vipera2 you can take single shots and still the bullets will go all over the place, turning over 20 degrees in any direction...

bfbc2 multiplayer is epic. MAG really has nothing on it, and they're thinking of charging for it monthly, and the shooting feels crappy and arcady.

I've played a decent amount of mag, mw2, and bfbc2 and battlefield is by far the best multiplayer

What? MAG is being charged monthly? I get that you like BC2, but saying that is just ignorant. I say both. I'm getting both.

Bad Company 2 hands down. Been having a blast with the multiplayer today, lots more customization and things to unlock than MAG as well. I rode the MAG train for a little while but it didnt last long, it got sour for me really quick.

I'm having a blast with MAG. I don't care what you guys think.

The people I play with seem to care about teamwork just as much as I do. It's not as flashy, but it's fun. Especially with good teammates.

BC2 is pretty good, atleast when playing the demo. But MAG actually gives you a feel that you are actually fighting for something besides just that win or lose you just got. In bc2, at the end of a match it just felt ok well that was neat lol. I don't know, I mean it isn't like MAG really puts alot of effort into the whole Shadow War concept, but it is there and it pumps me up to see SVER yet again to give them another lose :)

This concept is something that I know other games will have to follow in the future, cause just unlocks alone gets stale after a while. And what better to keep you gaming than knowing your battles mean something.

P.S. MMO's just updated their psn card to show MAG hooray, its only been a month lol.

They increased the spread on the shotty so people couldn't snipe with them, they add some more recoil to the LMG's so once again people don't use it to snipe with, they also added it to it while hip firing. Now its more of a matter of skill and not just being lucky. Also I think they added some ummph to the assault rifles, that wasn't stated but I can now have a pretty good k/d ratio while using one.

So to me the patch fixed alot of stuff that helps the gameplay alot.

you clearly haven't tried one of the SMGs post patch... yeah the LMGs needed a nerf, but they went on and nerfed everything else with it, so in the end the LMG is still the better choice... so in short you still see as much LMG noobs now then you did before and you will still get owned by a LMG noob that just holds R1 until his ammo depletes, you don't even have to aim good now, just aim at the general direction of the enemy and the magical spread will do the rest.

Also the shotgun was already a random mess before, I don't see why they had to increase the spread even more, I would get complete misses at 5 meters away from my target, it's really frustrating when you have a shotgun aimed at someones head at point blank range and the damn thing misses...

And don't even get me started on the SMGs, they were once the best way to counter the LMG noobs, now they are downright useless at any range other then point blank, while the LMGs are still as deadly at medium to short ranges, before it took skill to use them(the SMGs) because they do very low damage and HAD great accuracy, so aiming for the head was a must and the strenght of the SMGs, now the only way of killing someone with one is to get at a minimum of 3 meters away, aim at the general area that the enemy is and hold the R1 button hoping that least 50% of your shots hits...

seriously, anyone that is still wondering what to get, stay away from MAG, I don't think they'll ever fix it now, they have turned it on yet another casual FPS where skill means **** of course the people that couldn't aim for the love of **** are now rejoicing, because aiming good is no longer required, all you need now is to aim for center mass, hold R1 and hope for the best...

so go for BF:BC2, yeah it's also another casual FPS, but hey at least it has a SP campaign and you can blow **** up...
