I am thinking about pre-ordering, from GameStop either MAG or Final Fantasy XIII. The only problem I will most likely only have enough to pre-order one. MAG looks amazing and I really want it, it has from gamestop an in game skin. Final Fantasy XIII looks awesome, and I really really want it, there isn't a pre-order bonus yet, but something tells me it will be quite a bonus.:) So what do you think? I might have some games to sell to get at least $15, but then I'd have to still have $45, in order to get both.

Which should I do?

PS: MAG from Amazon said it came with " S. V. E. R. HOME space." What is that?

There's a month inbetween the releases. Just order what you would enjoy more since they are totally different genres, but as you already said MAG has preorder bonuses and FFXII does not.

I would go with Final Fantasy III since I'd think I'd play it more. I already have way to many FPS in my collection.

FFXIII isn't the online one is it? Go for MAG - it's online and you can level with everyone else and keep up with everyone, instead of joining late and being weaker. Then buy FFXIII. Singleplayer games never change.

I don't know, they're different types of games. I think the FF13 will last longer. I can't wait for that to come out. MAG I think will be cool too, but I'm more of an RPG, but I also like shooter type games sometimes. But I will prolly play FF13 more.

Get what you will enjoy and play more.

Play the MAG public beta starting January 4 before you even think about pre-ordering it.

I've played it and wouldn't pay $30 for it personally.

IMO, neither of them are worth to pre order it.

FF13 = good rental game unless you want to replay...or if you arer a Japanese animation fan.

MAG...i would wait and see how's market reaction.

It must score at least 9.0 at gamespot and 1M copies+ sold in the 1st week, otherwise no....

You all make an extremly good point, I think I will go with MAG, than not open it until ratings come out, any lower than 9.0 and I'll take it back and get Final Fantasy XIII.

PS: I am not a huge Japanese fan, I infact hate anime, I just played Crisis Core and loved it so that's why I like finale fantasy.

Thanks drakes_fortune what you said is starting to have an affect on me, maybe I won't buy it at all untill the review comes out. But than again if it sucks I can always not open it and take it back if the review said it sucks. than I can sell the bonus on ebay. Or maybe I should go buy Batman Arkham Asylum. I have been wanting that.

Well if your only a fan of Crisis Core, I HIGHLY recommend you look at a more traditional entry in the Final Fantasy series before pre-ordering XIII. They are nothing alike.

Final Fantasy XIII.

This shouldn't even be a question.

Pretty much this. The MAG beta was terrible. If you want to play FPS, stick with CoD or KZ.
