what are memory sticks are they sd cards or special things made just for psp??

they are called Memory stick duo, and they are made for many things like PSP, some digital cameras..etc. They are different than SD cards.

yeah, and whatever you do, DONT PAY RETAIL PRICES!! Retail is a complete rip-off for stuff like this, find a online pc store that sells them. You should be able to get 2gb for about $50 (us money, converting from nz money, probably not too accurate).bmaisey
