I disagree. The 1st 2 acts you really didnt have to interact with soliders. Your objective was just to Go. Act 3 consist of 3 parts. Act 4 and 5 was nothing either.Act 4 was probably the most decent tough. This game had no objectives that you had to do before you progress.PSP107
Huh, I never actually thought about it that way, but that's kind of true. I mean I love MGS4, but you probably just made me look at it in a new way forever. There really AREN'T objectives besides "move forward to next cutscene." In previous games it'd be like "defuse bomb, find weapon, secure disguise, et cetera," but there were no clear-cut objectives in the 4th game besides the inevitable "kill Liquid." By the way, I'm not trolling, MGS is my favorite series (and is actually responsible for me buying PlayStation systems for each game :P) but that's a compelling point.
Back on track to the OP, as much as I'd like to see a new MGS game, Snake's story is done. Fall of the Patriots and aftermath would undoubtedly be interesting, but it would almost seem unessecary in a bunch of ways considering that all of the antagonists' and protagonists' story lines are essentially wrapped up. A remake of MG1 and 2 would be brilliant, because they're insanely dated and could really use some exploration. More Big Boss is always welcome, I think he's an excellent and complex character. I just hope that Snake himself is done (unless it's a remake of MG1/2), but I have faith in Kojima.
