MetalGearSolid STory?

Could someone please tell me wat is the story about?

The best way to learn about the story is to figure out yourself. And the best way to figure out yourself is to play the game.

Why? The storyline behind MGS is VERY confusing.

Might as well tell you it anyway.

The main protaganist, also the guy you play is, is known as Solid Snake. He's a Spy-soldier (at least I think that's what they're called), or a soldier that uses stealth to proceed. You basically play as Solid Snake in Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 (in the prologue at least, after that you play as Raiden) and Metal Gear Solid 4. Metal Gear Solid 3 is like a flashback, as you play as Naked Snake.

Naked Snake, or more correctly, Big Boss. Big Boss is the main antagonist of Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Although he is dead in MGS and MGS2, he is still part of the story. You play as Big Boss as the protaganist in Metal Gear Solid 3, by the surname Naked Snake. During the time of MGS3, it is before Naked Snake gained his name Big Boss.

These 2 characters are vital in the Metal Gear Solid Saga. There are many more characters in the MG series, both minor and major. If you wanna learn more, research it yourself. If you want to play the games to learn the story, just play the MGS series.
