I working to lvl myself up online and currently I'm lvl 0. I wondering how do I lvl up? Do I just play and kill ppl because I've played a total of 2 hours and already haven't lvled up in anything. And so far I've been pretty decent at least getting 5 kills or more per game. Any ideas?

the lvling is quirky. It is not just that you kill. It is based on who you kill, who kills you, wins, and kill to death ratio. You can also lose level. It is easier to lose lvl than to gain lvl. 5 kills a game is not good by the way.

I suggest playing in the begginers servers if you still can.

*Tips* aim for the head, use the box, use magazines, use teamwork, don't play DM, find a good instructor and get trained by them.

Edit also: i believe it seperates each game mode. So if you are really good in TDM, but suck in everything else your lvl will reflect that.

the leveling is never consistant...you could play really, really well and raise your level really high (by getting more kills than you get deaths as well as being in the mid to top range players in the match helps a lot with the leveling)

With that being said, keep in mind that you could have a single bad day and your level could drop down really low. That's why you can find some level 3 players who can completely destroy level 4 or 5 players without dropping a sweat....

So in conclusion the leveling system is completely useless..you can't tell how good or bad a player is by their level since it's never consistant...the best way to get a rough idea of people's skill is by looking at their animal rank....you can see what kind of player the person is by their animal rank...although it's not always full proof, I find it much more informative than the player's level. >.>
