Can someone tell me WTF Kojima is talking about 50GB BL disc and snake suit only possible on cell ?I though even if konami want to do MGS multiplatform it can't be done becouse it have to be downgraded(i think they don't want to do this). DAMM :evil: if they gona release 360 version i'm serously doubt about buying mgs4. what you're thinking?
Like others have said, wait for confirmation before you get too excited. I will however say that I won't be surprised if we lose both MGS4 and FF13 to the 360. Sony has completely failed us with exclusives this gen.
i dont think the average 360 fanboy would appreciate MGS4 look wat happenned to MGS2 360 i s a FPS system thats what those gamers want, i dont think theyre able to understand the greatness behind MGS, dont know how its possible but apparantly it is. Sony dropped the ball it seems but who knows maybe the price drop will be enough to sell more PS3s ive been waiting to get mine anyways.

But we are gaining more exclusives, and some 360 games will start going multi-plat as well. Also, I doubt FFXIII will go the 360 since it is using the 'White Engine' which was supposed to be built to run on the PS3. I figured that The Last Remnant was Squares way of making a game for the 360, but I'll wait for further confirmation before eating my own words.
I'm just as pissed I really hope it doesn't happen man some series need to stay on certain consoles. Now some might say yeah but MGS was on the SNES well I say gaming wasn't as big as it is now therefore I think that MGS4 should stay on the PS3 alone especially since it's the last one and they already did this with MGS2 it didn't work why would they attempt again, if they really have a problem they should wait until Christmas and I know people who are waiting for it to be released before they buy a PS3.
It's not confirmed. And if it does happen, itl'll probably be bset on PS3. It's been made for PS3, and optiomized on it for years now. Edit: Besides. Its business. Business is to make money. IF they don't feel like they willmake enuogh money off 1 platform, release it to a second.

i agree.
as of right now i regret ever buying a ps3. didn't really enjoy any games except resistance. and that cost me $600 plus a $50 controller plus a $60 game. plus wasting money on more crappy games. spent all that money and really only got about 2 months of fun on resistance. was all that worth it for just that? and now there's a $100 price drop and a new 80 gig model. MGS4 and all the rest of my fav games like dmc going multiplatform is the icing on the cake.

First off the man who was quoted does not own the rights to MGS so he doesnt have as much say in the matter as people think. Second the reporter speculating this called metal gear solid a fighing game. And third, even in the quotes he said nothing about going multiplat. He just said we would like to keep it sony exclusive but we might have to take some steps, which could mean anything at this point. I mean heck, the steps could be anything from securing it as a ps3 eclusive by asking for benefits from sony to actually going multiplat there are a lot of things that he could have meant by that. Seriously. Wait for e3 people.

I doubt people who are complaining about it not being an exclusive for the PlayStation 3 are not in possession of a PlayStation 3.
i honestly don't care at the moment. sure it will hurt PS3 pretty badly, but not enough to completely devastate it. also, i know the PS3 version will be the best cuz it will be on one disc and it was build for PS3.

I think we're all talking about how it will impact Sony. This was a HUGE game, that we always "had" to ourselves. We were always being reassured by Kojima that it would always be on PS3. Now with this new Bull, I mean, cmon? Sony, get your act together, and keep this game exclusive
You're all talking like it's a done deal. Like ink has been put to paper and dried. This is speculation. Not only is it speculation on your part, it's even speculation on Konami's part. They never said they would do it. They said if things don't change they may need to take steps. That doesn't mean anything, that could mean that future Konami games will be 360 only if things don't change for Sony. So why this doom and gloom?
i read on another site (i wont giv adress cos im not sure if im allowed) that had a short interview with someguy from MGS4 , It basically said they dont want to make it multiplatfrom because MGS became alive from its debut on the ps1 , but because of how much it costing to make the game they are not disregarding the idea of multiplatform.:(
If it is ported, its coming out way later because they're too far in development on the ps3 version to just make a 360 version and have a simultaneous release and by that time it wont affect PS3 sales of the game
