MGS 5 to be revealed at or before E3.

MGS ended at 4, period~seriously, no matter how i like the series, when it ends, i really hope it stays that way...cause more doesn't equal epic. It's knowing when to stop.

if does feature Raiden as the main character then i want it to take place inbetween mgs2 and mgs4 where he rescues Sunny. and i agree that for the 1st half or so you play as regular Raiden the 2nd as cyborg.

if its not that, I'd like a remake of metal gear 1 and 2

ok i think there some people who looked to deeply at MGS5, the article just means a new Metal Gear, i am pretty sure that it will be a new series, metal gear ______, so to those people who are against an mgs5 its probably not going to have snake in it at least, i am pretty sure its gonna be an entirely new roster of charachters.

oh and it will be called METAL GEAR GAS...

Count me in!! Specially now that game developres know more about ps3, this possible game could look and play even greater than pur beloved MGS4!

I tottaly wanna play this possible game. To those of you how disbelieve, or don't want this sequel, let the others dream with it!

like others have stated Metal Gear starts and ends with Snake.MGS4 was the perfect way to end the series.it tied everything together.the Patriots are all dead.even though the series is by far the greatest series ever made,its time to end it.and you cant go around remaking MG1 and 2 and MGS1.but who knows maybe Hideo will come up with something and blow everyones minds away but as itis now just leave it be.

I don't believe there wil be a Metal Gear Solid 5. It would just ruin it all.

Again, announcing and releasing MGS5 are 2 different things. MGS development takes at least 3 years based on previous titles. If they announce it this year it does't mean the game is coming out next year. Kojima Productions would be taking their time doing the game. So NO it won't be "SO QUICK", in fact it would be too late if they announce it 2010. Like I said, it would take at least 3 years to complete the game and the game should be out by 2012 which is 6 years after the release of the PS3. Who knows maybe by the time 2012 comes next generation consoles would be revealed to the public. We want another MGS on the PS3. As far as MGS goes it's not "SO QUICK" taking in consideration the development time.

These are dubbed as "remakes". MGS5 and because of the "5" can't be a remake. It either a prequel(new and not a remake) or a sequel. However, I would love to see MG1 and MG2 remakes on the PS3 along with MGS5.

I hear a lot of people say this and while it makes sense I doubt they go through with it. Part of the reason Metal Gear games have been succesful is the plot twists. If you make a game where everyone knows the major plot twists then you loose a lot of the appeal.
